Taking a break from camping this weekend.
We’ve just discovered Elementary on @primevideo (yes, I know, seriously late to the party!). As a family we are obsessed and binge watching all 7 seasons.
So… decided to take the scamps up to Old London Town and visit 221b Baker Street and the @thesherlockholmesmuseum.
Such a surreal little experience. Bonkers system for getting your tickets (purchasing online does not mean you have them, you then have to queue in a mentally busy shop to get your tickets, to then queue to get into the house at your allotted time).
Over in a blink of an eye (think we were in there for about 35 minutes), the mannequins have seen better days and squeezing past folk on the stairs was interesting, but was a glorious collection of jam packed Victoriana, Sherlock’s infamous cases and, of course, “the hat”. Just wish there had been more.
Quirky little (albeit expensive) excursion. 🕵️♂️
