Ooni Frya 12


Time to dust off our Ooni Frya 12 for the summer. Third season with this little beauty - she is small but fierce!


Occasionally temperamental and a little stubborn when it comes to air flow. A patented wooden skewer manoeuvre on the air flow key ensures that the flame doesn't go out! Trial and, very much, error informed us that a metal skewer, in hindsight, was a foolish choice to hold against something at about 450 degrees!


Takes about 15-20mins to get to temperature and then we usually manage to get 5-6 pizzas out before we lose the flame and have to start again.


Ham, pesto and ricotta is a family favourite, alongside the controversial Hawaiian!


Great bit of kit and fully portable for all scamping possibilities. In our opinion, definitely worth the investment.


Now to the important question...pineapple anyone?
