Oh my. We fell in love with this place. Like, love at first site. I still think about it a year later.
Down a very narrow one track lane, you wonder if you are going to come out unscathed. Just when your nerves can't take it anymore, there you are. In this glorious, eccentric, delicious place. You feel like you've stumbled on a secret, bohemian paradise.
We stayed in a fabulous tipi. There was no need to bring anything, you could just rock up and chill out. Brilliantly dressed and comfy beds - one double and two single. The hosts, Ben and Netty, were so friendly. Pouring us wine as soon as we arrived and offering to go to the butchers for us in the morning.
A fully fitted communal kitchen and shared central fire pit, surrounded by comfy chairs, adds to the bohemian vibe.
On the pricey side of £160 for two nights for two adults and two children, but in our humble opinion, worth every penny.
