Cinnamon Brioche French Toast

We had an old friend for breakfast this morning. No, not à la Anthony Hopkins, rather in the irresistible form of Cinnamon Brioche French Toast. Utterly delicious, dead easy to make and everyone will love it, 100% guaranteed!


We were at home this morning, but equally simple over a campfire or camping stove. Who doesn't love a one pot breakfast?!


As always with our recipes, amounts and cooking times are to personal preference and dependent on your fuel source. We find 3 eggs and two slices each is enough for our family of four with hearty appetites.


Ingredients:

Eggs

Milk

Ground cinnamon

Butter

Brioche loaf, sliced


To serve:

Greek Yoghurt

Cherries in syrup (we are obsessed with Lidl's Italiamo Amarena Cherries - perfection!)


Then it is as simple as crack eggs into bowl, splash of milk, whisk, add cinnamon, heat butter, dunk sliced brioche in egg mixture (both sides). Add to frying pan/skillet. Brown on both sides. Pile up on plate, dollop of yoghurt, drizzle of cherries and syrup. Devour.
