Bedgebury Camping

A firm, firm favourite of ours. We go at least once a summer. Twice if we can. Basically since the kids could walk, we've been coming!

We've been with various groups of friends over the years - more rowdy/large crews in Apricot field, solo and quieter groups in Apple. We've even been serenaded by Billy Bragg one year, who did an impromptu gig there when his gig at Forest Live was unexpectedly cancelled!

Such great facilities, which have grown over the years and now include a bar, a barista coffee van (fabulous Nutella waffles), live music, croquet, football pool, archery, shower blocks, washing up blocks, communal fridges and normal loos if you aren't quite brave enough for the compost toilets. Not to mention fish and chips (delicious) and curry on a Saturday night.

Really reasonable cost - this year for four of us for two nights, a car and bag of logs and kindling it was £112.

Can't wait for summer 2024!
