We've been to Badgells Wood Camping a couple of times now. Once in the ludicrous heat and once in inch thick mud and driving rain. Both times were great fun and both times we were glad of the trees - for shade and shelter!
Always fun to pick up a wheelbarrow and trundle your kit to your own clearing in the wood. Feels like it is your secret, special place. Some plots are closer to where you can park, others deeper in the wood. A couple have the best of both worlds and are in part wood and part clearing. Whilst we have always camped, there are a few bell tents with beds (but bring your own bedding) if you fancy a less laden-down adventure.
Glorious doors on the showers too!!
