Our reviews
The majority of the places and products we review are paid for out of our own hard-earned cash. In order to pay for this, Camping Scamping is now a participant in several affiliate programmes, including the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, which is an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to amazon.co.uk. Therefore if you click and purchase via any of the links identified as being affiliate, we will get a small % of any sales generated. The fees we earn from affiliate links allow us to keep the blog going and also invest in new kit and recipes to trial, review and share our thoughts on.
We will always try to advocate for independent camping and glamping sites by reviewing and highlighting them for free. If we are invited to a paid stay, we will make this clear in our review.
However, please do understand that irrespective of any sponsorship, affiliate fees or payment of any kind, our reviews are candid, honest and unbiased. If we love something, or somewhere, we will tell you. If we don't, we will tell you that too! We will not accept any promotional work that requires us to offer certain opinions, take particular photographs or would make anyone question our integrity. We will also not promote any company or product that does not align with our ethos of fun, family and friendship.

Our images
Wherever possible, images are all taken by us, in our home, garden, or out and about. We keep filtering to a minimum and show things how they are.
We usually road-test items before taking them on a big trip out (who wants to pack things that are no good) and this helps us get the best photos we can and focus on our impartial thoughts.
